30 days, no questions, no friction. We voluntarily extend the statutory 7-day right of withdrawal under 전자상거래법 Article 17 to a full 30 days for every LockStack licence.
1. Voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee
Every LockStack purchase — Local Solo, Local Pro, Global Solo, and Global Pro — comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase, regardless of whether the software has been downloaded or used. This is more generous than the legal minimum and may be used as a substitute for the statutory withdrawal procedure described below.
2. Statutory right of withdrawal — 청약철회 (전자상거래법 제17조)
Under the South Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (전자상거래법), Korean consumers have the following statutory rights:
- 7-day standard withdrawal: within 7 days of receipt of the licence email, you may withdraw your purchase without giving a reason.
- 3-month extended withdrawal: if the product or service does not match the advertised description, you may withdraw within 3 months of purchase, or within 30 days of becoming aware of the discrepancy — whichever is later (전자상거래법 제17조 제3항).
Where the statutory right and the 30-day voluntary guarantee differ, the more consumer-favourable option applies. We will not interpret these terms to your disadvantage.
3. Restrictions on withdrawal for digital goods (제17조 제2항)
Korean law (전자상거래법 제17조 제2항 제5호) permits sellers to restrict withdrawal of digital content that has been delivered and used, where this restriction is clearly disclosed before purchase. JindoPrompt does not invoke this restriction during the 30-day window. Even if you have downloaded, installed, and used LockStack, you may still withdraw within 30 days of purchase under our voluntary guarantee.
After 30 days, we will treat each request individually and on a good-faith basis — we’d rather you be happy than hold a grudging customer.
4. How to request a refund (청약철회 절차)
- Email hello@lockstack.net from the address you used to purchase, within 30 days of your order date.
- Include your order number from the Lemon Squeezy receipt (subject line works fine).
- Optional: tell us what didn’t work for you. Your feedback genuinely helps us improve, but it is not required to receive the refund.
Under 전자상거래법 Article 18, refunds must be processed within 3 business days of receiving a valid withdrawal request. We commit to that timeline. The refund returns to your original payment method via Lemon Squeezy. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the credit typically appears in 3–10 business days.
5. Effect of withdrawal (효과)
Once the refund is processed, your licence is revoked. You agree to delete the LockStack installer, binaries, and bundled model files from your machines. You may keep any content you already generated — we make no claim on your output, even after refund.
6. Outside the 30-day window
After 30 days, refunds are at our discretion. Email us and we’ll review case by case. Statutory rights under 전자상거래법 (such as the 3-month extended withdrawal for misrepresented products) remain available regardless of our discretionary policy.
7. Chargebacks
Please email us before opening a chargeback. We can almost always resolve the issue faster directly. Chargebacks issued without first contacting us may result in licence suspension. Statutory consumer protections are not affected by this clause — you retain the right to escalate to your card issuer or the Korean payment-dispute mediation channels at any time.
8. Dispute mediation (분쟁조정)
If you and JindoPrompt cannot agree on a refund or withdrawal, you may seek free mediation through:
